ABR: Innovative Marketing Techniques for Buyer's Representatives (No CE credit)
his course has been designed to increase your awareness of how significantly the home buying process has changed in the past decade. Learn how to develop useful strategies for marketing your services to any home buyer. This course is for anyone who wants to tie together their knowledge of homebuyer needs, awareness of marketing principles, and a solution-oriented approach to serving buyer clients. This course explores the buyer counseling session in great detail and looks at marketing opportunities and points of differentiation. Counts as one REBAC elective course to be applied towards the ABR designation.

To earn the
ABR (Accredited Buyer Representative) designation, the candidate must:

Be
a member of NAR in good standing.

Take
the two-day ABR class.

Pass
an exam on legal and practical aspects of agency.

Take
one of the ABR elective classes.
-
Document
five completed transactions in which the candidate represented the buyer.
The ABR designation has been acquired by
30,000 Realtors® who want
to provide the best service possible to their buyer clients.
The elective courses are all one-day programs with the exception of the e-PRO
course, which is completed entirely online, and is estimated to take
approximately 20 hours to complete. (The benefit of taking the e-PRO course is
that you can earn the e-PRO designation at the same time!) In addition to the
courses offered by NSBAR, the Real Estate Buyer's Agent Council (REBAC), which
administers the ABR designation program, also offers on-line courses.
ABR courses
offered at NSBAR in 2006 are listed below. All courses except e-PRO meet at
the Robert McGuire Education Center, 450 Skokie Blvd., Bldg. 1200, Northbrook.
Class hours are 8:30 AM to 5 PM unless otherwise indicated. All classes are
