As many of you may know, Carol Kairis has accepted a new position within NAR as the Managing Director of SRES Council and Specialties. Although we are sad to see Carol go we are very happy for her and know she will be successful in her new role. The Commercial Connection will still be delivered to you the first Tuesday of every month and a new face will grace the newsletter this summer.
Welcome the RCA's Newest Staff Member
The RCA would like to extend a warm welcome to Jeff Hornberger, who will join us as the new Managing Director of Member Development, replacing Carol Kairis. Jeff has been at NAR since August 1999 as International Market Development Manager in NAR's International Operations Division. Some accomplishments include increased member business and profitability in international markets. Jeff helped create alliances with over a dozen new international organizations over his tenure. Please help us in welcoming Jeff; he will be starting on July 2, 2007.
National Awards Applications Coming Soon

2007 Commercial Membership Kits Coming in June
Commercial Overlay Boards who included a benefits message for the Kit and any staff listed in NRDS can expect to receive their 2007 Commercial Membership Kit sample by June 15. Kits to NAR renewing members and new members who joined in the first quarter of 2007 will be in the mail shortly. Members who join after March will receive their Kits on a monthly basis. Commercial Day at Annual Convention
Mark your calendar for Commercial Day at NAR's 2007 Annual Convention being held on Wednesday, November 14 in Las Vegas. There will be three 1.5 hour education sessions during the day and the second Commercial Networking Exchange (CoNEx) dinner that evening from 6:30-10:00 p.m. The CoNEx dinner is a ticketed event; purchase your ticket when you register for the Annual Convention.
