CEO and President: Terese (Terry) Penza, RCE, CAE, ePRO
Terry Penza is the current President and Chief Operating Officer of the North Shore - Barrington Association of REALTORS® in Illinois. She has been as association executive for 30 years. As a speaker at many IAR and NAR functions, she has been an instructor for the Illinois REALTORS® Institute for over 17 years. In 1986, she became a Certified Professional Standards procedures Instructor for NAR, and attained the Certified Association Executive (CAE) professional designation in the same year. In 1991 Terry was in the first class to earn NAR's new REALTOR® Association Certified Executive (RCE) designations. She earned her GRI in 1973. She was among the first group of inductees to the Bud Smith AE Leadership Society. Contact Terry.

Director of Information Systems: Steve Volkodav, ePRO
Steve Volkodav has been with NSBAR since 2000. As director of information services, he and his staff keep the association on the top levels of real estate technology with the webpage. Steve and his staff also assist NSBAR members with technical in-home support, and product assistance. He is a license real estate sales agent in holding. Contact Steve.

Director of Communications: Chris Huizenga
Chris is a 2000 graduate from North Central College in Naperville, IL with a degree in Organizational Speech Communications. At NSBAR, Chris outlines the continuing education schedule, is editor for the NSBAR REALTOR® News, has developed an online newsletter, and writes editorial columns for Real Estate Executive and Chicago Agent Magazines. Chris also leads new members through the NSBAR orientation and the REALTOR® Code of Ethics. He is a licensed real estate agent in holding. Chris served on the 2005 Editorial Board for the REALTOR® Association Executive Magazine. Contact Chris.
