History
NSBAR began connecting real estate agents in the Chicagoland area in 1919 as the North Shore Board of REALTORS®. Shortly after WWII, North Shore merged with the Evanston Board of REALTORS® to become the Evanston North Shore Board. In 1998, ENSBR and the Barrington Association of REALTORS® merged to become NSBAR . Several NSBAR members have gone on to serve in the Illinois Association, as well as in the National Association of REALTORS®. With a long and rich history, NSBAR today is larger and stronger than it has ever been, connecting over 4200 members in the Chicagoland area with tools for success.
